Week 11/Diving bell

These are my three Diving Bell Pictures. One is through a cologne bottle, one is through another bottle, and one is a picture through a gross lava lamp. idk they seemed like they would be good at the time.

scary week 12

its an up close of a wasps nest, i really like how its a great design made from nature, just something i noticed being built on my porch.

The first picture i took was through an empty bag of candy, it kind of gives the picture a blurry look. I took the second picture in the car today on my way back from Missouri, it is not a very clear picture.

Raindrops on Glass Wk 12

This is a picture of the raindrops on my car windshield. I like how it's focused on the raindrops, but because it's on glass, and there's traffic in the background, it really gives it a lot of depth. This week I went photo hunting and spent several hours driving around Wichita to get pictures. I think by the end of the evening I had over a hundred and fifty. It was really hard to pick which one, but I love rain, so I decided on this.

Divingbell Project

These are my three pictures for the divingbell project. This was actually a lot of fun to do, finding different things to look through. The first was taken through ginger ale, the second through some old wavy glass, and the last was through a bottle of olive oil.

Sugar Week 12

This is a picture i was taking for my photography 2 class. I was taking it and noticed the sugar and the way it poured. I liked the way the sugar is just flows over his had and over the pot.

divingbell project

i used reflections and looking through my screen door for these photos, the reflection of rain on the roof of my car, flipped upside down to give it an interesting view. a gazing ball, the type that usually are in the garden distorts pretty nicely. and through the screen you can see the tree in my front yard, but focus is on the screen.

Video Project

These are the pictures that I took for our video assignment. After some searching around the house I found a really neat way of taking pictures that distorts the object so much and yet I think makes it look like a wrinkled up canvas painting. The way that the criss cross hatching on the inside of the bag I used makes it look like some one just slapped this on a nice piece of canvas for all to see.

Week observation

This was one of my layered pictures that I didn't use but I liked the way the trees and landscape are distorted, but you can still tell what they are. I used bubble wrap to distort them, and i love how some areas are more out of focus than others. I also like the random splashes of blue from the sky.

Art Project

These are the pictures I took through something. I used bubble wrap, a plastic cup, windex bottle, and bottle of water wrapper.

These are picture i took for the project we had to do with something in front of the lens. I took the pictures through pink poka dotted tissue paper and a Quick Trip cup.

Week10

This is a picture close up of the carpet at my house I like the unordinary patteren it has.

My Nephew Week 3

I just gave my nephew a bath and his hair was a little wild. I couldn't stop laughing and obviously had to take a picture of this. I know how everyone thinks that there own family is always cute but I hope that others think that he as cute as I do because he's my little dude....lol

Super Kool Sky Week 4

I was driving on a dirt road to my Dads house when I looked up in the sky and noticed the rays of the sun coming through the clouds. It looked beautiful by itself but I changed it to negative and thought it looked even more beautiful so I took the picture and hoped that others would think the same.

Cereal bowl week 5

I was eating a bowl of cereal and noticed the rings from the light that reflect off of the side of the bowl and is shown on the milk. It makes a perfect circle and I thought that it was pretty neat so I took a picture.

Old Phone Week 6

I noticed this old phone because its so old and have never seen one of these before. The picture was taken with my phone so please excuse the lighting but this phone caught my attention and wondered if it would catch anothers.

Bear on wall week 7

I was watching tv when I noticed that my mom had put her bear that she shot in Alaska on the wall. I would have not looked or even noticed the bear otherwise. So I thought that i would take a picture and post it on he blog for people to see.

Light rays week 9

I was in psychology and took this picture after I noticed the rays coming from the light. On the camera it intensifies which also caught my attention I think more that usual.

Black Leaves Week 8

I was in the library when I noticed the sun shining in the window. The sun mad the green leaves black. Any other day I would not have noticed this.

Germ X Bottle Through Germ X Bottle Week 10

I was looking through a germ x bottle and the images that were seen through the germ x bottle looked somewhat odd looking but at the same time I thought it looked extraordinary. Once I found the other germ x bottle I thought it would be kind of ironic that you were looking at a germ x bottle through a germ x bottle.

Blinds Week 11

This is a picture of the blinds in my friends house. I noticed the neat design that it makes because of the light coming through the window. I switched the camera from color to the setting called negative and thought it looked pretty neat so I took a picture hoping someone else might think it looks neat as well.

Wk 11 Incomplete?

This week I was looking at one of my active network cables, and I noticed that it was missing something.. Although it works fine, it looks like it would be incomplete in its nature. It is missing 4 wires inside the cable itself. It was kinda a surprise/miracle that it works and does the job because if you have ever encountered technology with one problem, it doesn't like to cooperate all the time.

Lights wo 11

This is a picture of some old school lights that are hanging in my bathroom at my house. I like how u can see the reflection of the light in the picture.

Cornbread wk 11

These are cornbread muffins I made the other day. I liked the circular patterns; the circles on the stove and the round tops of the muffins... I also liked the contrast between the yellow cornbread and the dollap of raspberry on top.

Blue Sky Week 11

This is a picture of the sky I took the other day. I liked the bright blue colors and the white and dark clouds. It has nice contrast i thought.

Layers wk 11

This shows the different layers of the candle and how the bulbs of the wick are resting at the solid point of the wax. i like how you can see a little bit of the tv reflection in the class, but the main focus is on the bulbs.

Reflections

This is a picture of the refection in a glass of liquid. I filled a wine glass with some old ginger ale I found lying around then noticed how cool the reflections looked on the liquid. I was standing near the window and the reflections are from the outside. It's kind of like two pictures in one--one from the liquid in the glass, and the other in the reflection. I especially thought it was cool after the presentation in class, and talking about capturing things through reflection.

Week 11

This was a picture from the ice storm last week. I wish it had better quality because the best part of it is the ice hanging off the fence. But it does have a nice crystally(sp?) look to it i guess.

Useful Pennies wk10

My dad re-builds a lot of motorcycles, some of them are pretty messed up before the re-building process, i thought this one was hilarious, who would have thought to do this?? but it works i guess.

Week 10 Chair Pattern

This week I took a picture of the chair I was sitting in the library at Butler. I liked how the colors kind of collided with each other and I liked the distinct pattern that was repeated.

week 9

This is a picture of a ceiling I really like how depending on where you look at it from it can either look all black or you can see the orange cirlce of the ceiling.

I thought this looked really neat. It has a really neat pattern, It is an air freshener.

I like this picture, i was watching tv and i thought this would make a good picture. It is a speaker. Its neat how you can kinda see a reflection in the mirror part of the speaker.

This looks neat from the view of the way the picture was taken. It is actually the bottom of a shoe.

I noticed this mask hanging on the wall in my friends house. I like all the colors and the way it is so shiny. If you don't look at it too close; it looks almost real.

I was laying on my floor when i took this picture. I thought it would look neat in motion.
