Artists nurture their ability to find interest or beauty in the mundane, the ordinary and the natural world. Through practice, they accentuate this focus, typically as a driving force in their work. From Observation is a community blog project that engages its participants to take part in this exercise by finding beauty and interest in their everyday lives.
The silhouette gives this picture a really nice effect. I think the sun though, adds something even more. It looks the way I used to draw suns when I was a kid, with the separate rays coming off of it. It's really cool with how it contrasts against the darkenss of the rest of the picture.

ReplyDeleteThe sun looks absolutely amazing in this picture, it kind of reminds me of movies set in the desert, and how they exaggerate the sun's rays for a scorching sun effect.
ReplyDeleteI really like how the sun looks unreal in this picture. The spikes that are coming off of it are really cool.
ReplyDeleteThis is a cool picture, how the sun is so bright and then all you can see are the trees in the background and the silhouette of the elevator.
