This picture shows how mans carbon footprint has effected nature. Barbed wire is cutting into this tree, it has been there for years and has no plan of leaving. This is just a small example of the monstrous carbon footprint of mankind on nature.

great observation! Ive seen many trees with chains embedded into them due to a persons careless action. I love how the tree always trys to overcome...
ReplyDeleteCool photo! I live out in the country, so I see a lot of this out there. It's interresting to see how the trees will often times grow around, or even over, the wire. To me it symbolozes that we can never really overcome nature--it will just adapt, and mesh with us. Great observation!
ReplyDeleteI really like the way this seems to resemble the fight between man and nature. We have always fought to overcome mother nature, and in the end it seems like it still comes back.
