Machinery

This picture was taken in the old barn behind my house. I was just wandering around out there, when this old piece of machinery caught my eye. I decided to zoom in on this one part because I loved the texture and image of it. I'm a big fan of anything rusty, old or mechanical related so I snapped a picture. I wish the image quality was better, but the lighting was bad and my camera's flash was giving me issues again.

  1. You know Gretchen this is a really cool example of order in my eyes, just the way that the gear looks nestled there in the hay or whatever it is, and how its holes are lined up in North South East West alignment. I just find it fascinating how old equipment can look after years of just sitting.

  2. nice job-this photo has a nostalgic quality to it. The NSWE allignment reinforces the idea of "tool"....you could think about them as our day to day compass..with the right tools tell you what to do...
